«Scrìvar
tuti conpagno no vol mìa dir parlar tuti conpagno»
Remarks: while usually in many languages the words "venetian / venezianisch / veneciano / venecià" are employed to refer to both the city of Venice and the whole Veneto Region, here the Vèneto language with all its varieties is referred to as "Vèneto - Venetan - Venetienisch - Vènet" , reserving the terms "venesian - venetian - venezianisch - veneciano - venecià" only for the venetan variety spoken in Venice. Otherwise it would be as saying that english language coincides with London's Cockney variety or that german is just "berlin language" |

*"Paduan" : in Veneto words with voiced-S are represented with X (xe, xente) and some of them can be writte with Z (zente=xente, mezo=mexo) in varieties which have interdentals. Paduan and italianized orthographies often erroneously use interdental z to represent also words which have only voiced-S and no interdental alternative (*ze, *zera). The dictionary puts in order this too. *"Padovan"
